Optionals (Talent, Pairs Modeling, Top Model, State Costume)
ARE THERE ANY OPTIONAL EVENTS A DELEGATE CAN ENTER? 
  • Yes, as a delegate you can enter Top Model, Pairs modeling, and Talent.  These optional events will take place in front of an independent panel of judges on Friday evening and have NO bearing on the outcome of the pageant.   
  • You can also choose to pay the upgraded entry fee to include the Costume Contest, which will take place during the “Queens Party” on Saturday evening.   
Pairs modeling may include one (one) member who is not a delegate however, they are only allowed into the optional event area during that competition.  The delegate may invite them to the Queens Party but only during the awards ceremony – not for the entire party.   
 
 WHAT IS THE COST OF ENTRY INTO OPTONAL EVENTS? (i.e. Top Model, Costume Contest, Pairs Modeling and Talent) 
  • $25 for one entry (pick one:  Top Model, Costume Contest, Pairs Modeling or Talent) 
  • $50 for two entries (pick two:  Top Model, Costume Contest, Pairs Modeling or Talent) 
  • $75 for three entries (pick three:  Top Model, Costume Contest, Pairs Modeling or Talent) 
  • SPECIAL $75 for ALL FOUR!  (Top Model, Costume Contest, Pairs Modeling AND Talent) 
 
WHAT PRIZES CAN I EARN BY ENTERING THE OPTIONAL EVENTS? 
Side Awards – Returning Queens and Delegates – Given at conclusion of Queens Party and Gift Exchange 
  • Top Model   Plaque and photos during Monday morning photos 
  • Best Themed Costume  Plaque for 1st place, Lanyard & medal for 2nd and certificate for 3rd place 
  • Pairs Modeling   Plaque for 1st place, Lanyard & medal for 2nd and certificate for 3rd place 
  • Talent    Plaque for 1st place, Lanyard & medal for 2nd and certificate for 3rd place 
Note:  All three places will only be awarded if at least five or more entries are received for each optional event.  If less than five entries, but more than two entries, only 1st place will be awarded.
